New Car At Christmas: The Gift That Keeps On Giving test 1-1

The idea of waking up to a new car on Christmas morning is exciting and a dream come true, according to television commercials anyway. It's interesting to think about the path that a car may take after it has been produced. The new car is going to leave the factory and wind up at a dealership. It may sit there for a while, and various different people will get behind the wheel to take it for a test drive.

Eventually, someone is going to take the car home, and it will begin its life as a trusted workhorse.

Some movies are great films according to the critics. As a guy watching a movie, sometimes I agree with the critics, and sometimes I don't.

As we inch closer and closer to having self-driving vehicles become commonplace, Google is learning more and more about what an autonomous car will need to do and how it will need to behave to provide the most dependable, comfortable, and safest experience for the passenger. Recent findings suggest that the current versions are too polite and need to be able to be a little more aggressive.

This makes puddles or other “dangers” visible to anyone stepping out of the vehicle. It’s a nice touch to provide a little extra safety and convenience and it’s been available for years as standard on some models and optional on others.

Personal Safety Check test 1-1

The news is full of safety recalls on all sorts of vehicles. We expect auto makers to produce vehicles with the highest level of safety possible. That’s a pretty tall order with all the technology involved in getting one to run. We had fewer problems when windows rolled down using a handle and doors unlocked using a key. I’m not so sure that cars weren’t safer without airbags as well. Anyway, manufacturers are doing what they can to ensure that our cars don’t kill us, but that’s not what this article is about.
