The basic ingredients in any Chevy SS vehicle are a big engine, intimidating looks, and lots of badges. SuperSport models are usually based on whatever's popular at the time, and nothing was more trendy in the mid-2000s than the midsize SUV. As a member of a family that owned at 1989 Hyundai Sonata, I can tell you that even though I was still in single digits age-wise, I knew then that we had gotten the strange sounding car (I had to be told about a hundred times that no, it was not a Honda), that we chose that car out of necessity and not luxury. This has helped reduce noise pollution, but unfortunately has created a new problem due to the cars wreaking havoc on pedestrians, especially the visually impaired. Many automakers are aware of the issue and some have developed tentative solutions, but mandatory regulation for all EVs and hybrids to have them has been slow in coming.

With the recent resurgence of Lincoln these days, it is easy to forget that just a few years ago Ford was ready to put the proverbial axe to Lincoln. With sales that were on life support, and models that failed to standout in the crowded luxury market, things looked bleak for Ford's luxury division. However, thanks to new models such as the MKC crossover, as well as the updated MKZ, sales have seen a 7.3 percent increase through the month of October and look to continue their trend upward through the month of November. While the 2017 MKZ debuts a new and improved styling language, Lincoln representatives revealed that the brand still plans to keep a calculated pace in its revival plans.
