The Mercedes E63 AMG has already proven to be a very formidable performance sedan entry, especially with the addition of standard all-wheel drive. However, the engineers at Mercedes are always looking for new ways to make the E63 even better and have officially confirmed that it will be coming with an all-new drift mode for the 2018 model year.

There was some hubbub in the press a few months ago about Cadillac moving to New York, to be re-imagined away from Detroit, the town Antoine de Cadillac himself founded back in 1701. Has this move altered the products? Rather than the 640hp CTS-V (a civilized, less well-known Hellcat, surely?). AutoShopper spent time with the CT6 to find out.
AMG has been on a product blitz as of late with the in-house tuner unveiling a whole host of AMG-badged models to help expand its profile among customers. The latest model to benefit from the infusion of AMG-branded performance is also arguably its most design-focused model yet, the 2017 Mercedes-AMG GLC43 Coupe.

The Touareg: the VW Group midsize SUV for those too poor to afford an Audi Q7 or Porsche Cayenne. Or that's what most people think. And God forbid you mention your Touareg has a diesel. Most people will keep standing there just long enough to drop their gaze to see if you're wearing socks with your Birkenstocks and invent a sick family member/pet/head-of-state they have to visit—like right now—before they sprint away from you.

Practical, pleasant to drive, and showing some design flair were the impressions left by a few hours spent with a 2016 Jeep Renegade. Chrysler's design team has long been noticeable for their ability to “do the most with the least”—Charger immediately springs to mind—and Renegade is cut from this cloth. In both size and ethos the Renegade reflects the original military Jeep, now reinvented for twenty-first century urban living.

Looking for all the minimalist excitement of an Ariel Atom at a discount AND don't fear death? Then have I got the vehicle for you!
People in my profession—and outside it, too, I suppose—have always railed against government “interference” in the production of vehicles. Sure, the seat belt was a good idea, but airbags, “safety” bumpers, and—more recently—the laundry list of electronic nannies like automatic braking and stability control?

Anyone who thinks our economic system is sane hasn’t bought a gallon of gas lately. Whether the cost is up or down, it almost never stays the same for long. The price at the pumps gyrates up and down with the maddening frequency of a hyperactive hummingbird. Even more discomforting is the apparent lack of reasons for the constant shift. It’s as if a cabal of fickle service station owners is basing the cost on whatever direction the wind is blowing at any given moment.

Infiniti has high hopes for the recently unveiled Q50 Red Sport 400, however, the Red Sport 400 will have a lot more on its plate than just making a good impression when it arrives. According to statements from Infiniti, it will also herald the debut of an all-new performance brand that is set to wage war with BMW's M division and Mercedes-Benz and their in-house AMG performance division.

The current generation F-Type "R" model currently holds the mantle as the most powerful F-Type avalible to buyers thanks to its 550 horsepower supercharged V8 engine as well as its slick exterior styling, however thanks to a poorly timed leak by a German importer (which was spotted by the folks at Autovisie,) that model will be surpassed by a new breed of feline that brings more power and technology to the F-Type ranks while also putting established entries from Porsche and BMW in its crosshairs.
