The current generation F-Type "R" model currently holds the mantle as the most powerful F-Type avalible to buyers thanks to its 550 horsepower supercharged V8 engine as well as its slick exterior styling, however thanks to a poorly timed leak by a German importer (which was spotted by the folks at Autovisie,) that model will be surpassed by a new breed of feline that brings more power and technology to the F-Type ranks while also putting established entries from Porsche and BMW in its crosshairs.

Renault Master front three quarter test 2

With efficient high top European-style vans finally making it to the US, it is relevant to examine the state of the technology. This effort is badged as a Renault, and while that name might be unfamiliar to many Americans, the company is Nissan in the US. Renault has a heritage similar to Ford, with a century of building all shapes and sizes of cars and trucks, often offering considerable design flair at a medium price point. Both share a century-old deep commitment to motorsport. This is the third generation Master, and builds on the previous strong-selling iterations.

Review: The 2015 Mustang V6 Convertible

Mustang Convertible front three quarter test 2

Design folk will tell you that their ideas are best expressed in the more extreme versions of their work: Z/28 is faster, better looking, plain more Camaro than the 6-cylinder. By that rationale, this Mustang, powered by the V6 found in the old model should be underwhelming. On the contrary, the convertible I sampled was an easy car to like, and worked well as a holistic piece of design.

The bottom line seems to be that Kia offers the same as Honda or Toyota, but at a better price. With prices starting at $54k, Kia are boldly stepping beyond Honda/Toyota and into the premium luxury sedan sector with the K900. So, is this Kia a credible alternative to a second hand Benz S-Class?

Hybrid or Hellraiser? 2015 Lexus CT200h vs. 2013 Mazda Mazdaspeed3 test 1-1

In most Hybrid or Hellraiser columns, I start by making a tasteless poop joke about hybrid drivers, then end by trying to convince you that driving a gas-guzzling muscle car will somehow make you a better person. But I'm not going to do that this time. Because small hatchbacks like the 2015 Lexus CT200h and 2013 Mazda Mazdaspeed3, actually offer everything that you need to live a rewarding life.
