If you are planning to go on a vacation or travel for business this summer, you will quickly find out that expenses will stack up. While you are on trips, you will likely pickup the tab for airfare, hotel rooms, meals, and rental cars; rental cars can really make the final total you spend on traveling skyrocket. Outside of the initial cost of just renting a car from an agency, there’s plenty of other things that can hike up the final price. You’ll need to factor in gas, rental insurance, and other expense when budgeting for a rental car. There are, however, some ways you can save on rentals.

A recent study by the Highway Loss Data Institute showed that the Ford F-250 was the truck most often targeted by thieves; the same study showed that the Dodge Charger is the most commonly stolen car. There are some crooks out there who have more expensive taste though. The National Insurance Crime Bureau (NICB) has recently published their own list of the top ten luxury automobiles that are targeted in thefts.
