Following the recent unveiling of the Chevrolet Bolt EV concept car, as well as persistent rumors surrounding the upcoming Tesla Model 3, a new report appears to suggest that Ford is preparing a vehicle of its own to respond to these two key rivals and could possibly unveil the fruits of its effort at the 2015 Los Angeles Auto Show in late November.

When the Ford GT first made its surprise debut at the 2015 North American International Auto Show back in January, Ford executives hinted that the car could feature a price tag of over $100,000, as well as a limited production run. However, if a new report is to be believed in its entirety, then both figures are far more extreme than first thought, which could combine to make the Ford GT one of the rarest supercars on the road when it eventually goes into full-scale production.
