Are You Ready for Driverless Uber Cars?
There has always been a certain stigma attached to a ride in a taxicab. Of course, in all fairness, some cab drivers are perfectly honest and polite, and some of the vehicles are nice and clean and well-maintained. However, we have all heard horror stories about rude, reckless drivers who take advantage of visiting tourists who don't know about the quickest routes from one place to another. In fact, you may have lived some of these stories in the flesh. (I know that I have.)
Toyota To Increase Tacoma Production
With the mid-size pickup truck segment being reinvigorated by new entries, including the Chevrolet Colorado, Toyota announced that it plans to increase Tacoma production by 60,000 units in 2018. That would allow the brand to reaffirm the model's place in the sales race, while bringing the fight to the two leading entries in the mid-size pickup truck segment: The Chevrolet Colorado and the GMC Canyon.

2017 Chevy Bolt: Over 230 Miles On a Charge
When I was a little kid growing up in the 1960s, there were a lot of futuristic innovations floated around on sci-fi shows and in scientific publications. Many of these gizmos, gadgets, devices, and vehicles were actually rather slow to hit the marketplace, but we are in the sweet spot of technological advancement at the present time. This certainly extends into the automotive realm in many different ways, and some of the things that are happening have been quite predictable.
Volkswagen Golf Could Embrace All-Wheel Drive
Volkswagen's versatile Golf hatchback has already proven to be a viable contender in a wide range of applications, but, other than the Golf R, the standard Golf is solely front-wheel drive. However, a statement from someone who would know at Volkswagen said VW is ready to offer four-wheel drive Golf for the U.S. market.

Finally! This Japanese sports car duo gets its due with record-setting sales at AA's Auburn Auction
If you were one of the people who thought Japanese sports cars were criminally undervalued, you should feel good in the knowledge that you were right. But unless you also PURCHASED one of those absolute steals at their rock-bottom prices, that feeling ain’t gonna last long because—as shown at Auctions America’s Auburn, IN, sale Aug. 31–Sept. 4—it would seem that your chance to get in on any of the 20 or 30 lower floors of this exploding market has passed you by.
Then, again, seeing as how the 2017 NSX hasn’t made its full impact on the value of its predecessors yet (up or down)—and that there’s supposed to be another Supra on the way in 2019 that could do the same—there might yet be some money on the table for you if you act fast…

Genesis Reveals U.S. G90 Pricing, Starts At $69,050
Hyundai's Genesis sub-brand made it clear that it wants to shake up the established players in the luxury car sales race, and the G90 sedan appears to be the sedan that could very well help them achieve this goal. A notable question was how much the G90 would cost here in the U.S., and whether it would, indeed, undercut its European rivals. Genesis has now released this information, which shows that the G90 will be more of a threat to the established sales order than first thought.
