Grand-Am Tests At Indy

Rolex Grand-Am series cars practiced at the famed Indianapolis Motor Speedway yesterday, a first for the series and its drivers. Speedtv.com has full coverage of the practice, run yesterday in front of a large number of fans. The infield grandstand and pits were open to the public, free of charge.

All involved loved running at the Brickyard. The most interesting aspect to me revolves around how much support there is for an endurance event at IMS.

"It should be special," said Buddy Rice. "Not one of our 3-hour races but maybe 6 or 12 hours."

I doth agree, Mr. Rice . . .

Detailed coverage can also be located at Grand-Am's homepage.
