Behold: The Exciting 2016 Buick Enclave Tuscan Edition

Buick is taking suburban snobbery to a whole new level with this... very brown Tuscan Edition Enclave. Sure, it's about as exciting as a new napkin ring collection from Martha Stewart. But if you live in a gated community and your eldest son has a Roman numeral attached to his name, then a new napkin ring from Buick might be important. So let's see what all the fuss is about...

In the luxury CUV segment, appearance is very important. You can't out-snob Mrs. Jones with last year's fad, so automakers are constantly reading Vogue to divine the next fashion-forward trend. Apparently, folks are really into brown these days, so Buick called up Sherwin-Williams and ordered a whole bunch of brown bronze paint for their 2016 Enclave Tuscan Edition.

Buyers of the swanky new 2016 Buick Enclave Tuscan Edition will be treated to exclusive bronze colored uprights in the front grille, and bronze embellishments on the 20-inch wheels. To offset all the brown bronze, three body colors will be offered: Dark Chocolate Metallic, White Frost Tricoat, and Ebony Twilight Metallic. According to Buick, no other embellishments are included with the brown Italian package.

All 2016 Buick Enclave Tuscan Edition models are based on either the Leather or Premium trim package. To wit, each comes with standard :
• Power dual-pane moonroof
• Heated wood trim steering wheel
• Blue LED ambient lighting
• Wi-Fi hotspot
• HID headlamps
• Power-operated tailgate
• Backup camera
• Heated/cooled front seat (on premium trim models)

Power still comes from the 288-hp GM 3.6 liter V6, and buyers can choose between front and all-wheel drive. This is a full size 7-8 passenger CUV, so it's not going to win many stoplight races. But it drives like a luxury sedan, and it's got enough power to keep you entertained.

So, basically, the new Tuscan Edition Buick Enclave is a LuxUV... with lots of brown paint. But considering this is Buick's most popular model, you can bet it'll be popular. Official pricing is yet to be announced, but expect the 2016 Buick Enclave Tuscan Edition to start just below $50,000. A mere pittance, when you consider what Mrs. Jones just paid for her Lexus.
