Bethlehem, PA Hosts Lehigh Valley Auto Show

You can hear whispers of spring right around the corner, and there are some great automotive events coming up during the warmer months. I grew up in New Jersey, about 30 miles from Philadelphia, and I have always had a fondness for the area, so a particular event has caught my eye.

There is going to be a killer automobile show held on the campus of Lehigh University in a couple of weeks. The 2015 Lehigh Valley Auto Show will take place from March 19th through the 22nd; there will also be a pre-show gala on March 18th.

There will be new cars on display from many different automobile manufacturers; one of the objectives is to demonstrate the current state of the industry with regard to technological innovations and safety features. This is certainly an important and very interesting facet of the show, but it does not stop there.

If you can make it to the Lehigh Valley Auto Show, you will also get a chance to see many different stunning classic cars, true pieces of history. One of the exhibits is called American Cars Through the Decades Presented by: America On Wheels Museum. This exhibit will feature a 1921 Ford Model T; a 1936 Ford convertible; a good old 1941 Ford Woody; a ' 56 T-Bird; and a 1965 Chevy Chevelle SS ragtop.

The Pennsylvania chapter of the Buick Club of America will display some very historic vehicles as well, including a 1941 sedan and a 1957 Buick Special.

Lehigh University is in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania, a very centrally located area for millions of people who live in the Northeast. It's less than two hours from Philadelphia, and it's about two hours and 20 minutes from New York City.

Tickets to the Lehigh Valley Auto Show are a bargain considering everything that you will be able to take in at the event. If you buy your tickets at the door, you are looking at $10 for adults and seven dollars for children; parking is free.

The tickets for the gala that will precede the actual event are going for $150 for a couple, $85 for an individual.

This event that can be a lot of fun for the entire family. To obtain detailed information about the 2015 Lehigh Valley Auto Show, visit their website.
