Jaguar Land Rover Previews Vehicles Set To Appear In Upcoming Bond Movie

Ahead of the official release of the upcoming James Bond film Spectre, Jaguar Land Rover (JLR) has unveiled a lone teaser image featuring all three of the vehicles that will represent the company in the film alongside the recently unveiled Aston Martin DB10 coupe.

Arguably the most sensually styled of the three, the C-X75, will be taking part in what JLR calls "a spectacular car chase sequence" alongside the recently unveiled Aston Martin DB10 through the iconic streets of Rome, Italy. Expect the C-X75 to fully embrace the company's recent theme of portraying its vehicles as "being bad" and be driven by the main villian in the movie, while the DB10 will most likely be piloted by Bond (a role that has been fulfilled by prior Aston products during a majority of the franchise's history.) The C-X75 featured was created as a result of a special partnership between JLR's SVO division and the folks at WIlliams Advanced Engineering and will most likely be a one of a kind production. Jaguar has said in the past that it has no plans to formally produce the C-X75 and don't expect this lone example to sway their firm edict anytime soon.

Unlike the sleek C-X75 supercar, the other two members of this trio will not see similar high-speed high jinks in their respective roles. Instead, the Range Rover SVR and the Land Rover Defender "Big Foot" concept will be featured in scenes that take place in Austria. Look for that country's challenging winter roads and equally daunting mountain trails to be the areas where the two will spend the majority of their screen time. Both vehicles were modified for their roles in Spectre, but the Defender "Big Foot" stands out in particular, thanks to revised bodywork, beefy 37-inch tires, and a host of suspension upgrades designed to help this massive beast conquer a whole mountain of terrain and off-road situations.

As for the film, look for Spectre to make its formal silver screen debut on November 6th, with trailers featuring more scenes from the film possibly being released sometime this summer.
