Mayweather Car Collection Goes Viral

I was visiting Las Vegas a few years ago; I'd I lived in the city previously, so I had some memories. I'm not a guy who gets up particularly early when I'm in Vegas, so the beginning of my morning was pretty close to noon.

My rental car company upgraded me to a Kia Sedona minivan, a vehicle that I never would have chosen in a million years. Much to my surprise, it was actually fun to drive. It was surprisingly powerful, and it had a high perch and great visibility.

I felt the need to share that, but this article is not about the Kia Sedona, so let's move on.

As you might imagine, I had indulged in my share of potent potables the night before. I decided to take the Sedona on a cruise down memory lane and drive past some of the places that I used to know when I lived in Vegas.

After I had reached the turnaround point I realized I was going to drive past a bar that was one of my favorites in the past. It was still only about 1:30pm, and the responsible me said no. Of course, he was shouted down, and I went in to have "just one beer".

The bar was not very full, given the time of day, but there was someone in there buying everyone drinks. I'm not talking about one round; I'm talking about every drink, and I'm talking about every person in the bar.

I accepted a free beer and went over to thank him. It turns out that he was the personal assistant for one of the most famous professional poker players in the world. This is someone we have all heard of, but he shall remain anonymous.

He told me a number of stories, and one of them was about Floyd Mayweather. One time he was following Floyd on the freeway to some party, and Floyd was going well over 100 miles per hour. He got pulled over, and my new friend was able to use local name dropping to get Floyd out of the situation.

Since then, I knew that Floyd Mayweather likes to drive fast, but now I know why. It turns out that Mayweather is a huge car collector. He recently posted a picture of himself with his collection on Instagram, and it can be described only as draw dropping.

He posted nine incredible cars in the picture, with his $2 million Bugatti Veyron Grand Sport leading the pack in terms of value.

They tell you that fighting is bad when you are a kid, but if you fight real good, it looks like it's not that bad after all.
