Fast & Furious: Ja Rule's 1996 Acura Integra GS-R Movie Car Listed on eBay

NOOOOOO!!! MONICA!!! Those were the famous words, yelled by rapper-turned-actor Ja Rule, as Paul Walker hit the NOS and flew past him in the street race scene on the first Fast & Furious movie. When the film came out in 2001, this heavily modified Integra GS-R was a rockstar in the tuner world. It graced magazine covers and served as inspiration for countless Integra-owning boy racers. And now it can be yours, if the price is right!

Built by SoCal-based Samko Racing, this 1996 Acura Integra GS-R is one of four identical cars built for the movie. It’s the only one to survive (countless cars were destroyed while filming The Fast and The Furious), and it has just 32,000 garage-kept miles.

The list of modifications is a mile long, but here’re the highlights:
• Wings West RS Racing bodykit
Momo GT wheels
Type-R intake cam
AEM cold air intake
DC Sports headers and exhaust
Exedy racing clutch
Custom Polk Audio system
Momo racing seats
Ja Rule-autographed dashboard
A sunroof

It didn’t take long for the first Fast & Furious movie to become imprinted on the American psyche. Universal spent $38 million to make the movie, and they grossed $40 mil on the opening weekend. When it was all said and done, The Fast and the Furious brought in over $200 million (the entire franchise has made over $2 billion), and everybody involved became famous. Including this car. After the movie promotional duties, this Integra was prominently displayed at the 2002 and 2003 SEMA Shows. It’s graced the cover of over a dozen magazines, and the seller says that it’s still in race-ready condition. As of this writing, the bidding is over $20k and the reserve has been met. But there’s still time left, so who knows how high the price will go. To have a look at the auction, click here
