2016 Toyota Corolla - There Are Some Changes Comin'

The 2014 Toyota Corolla redefined what it was to drive this historically reliable vehicle; in 2016 Toyota promises to set the bar even higher. Rumors about the 2016 Toyota Corolla abound, filled with new features and a promise that the company excellence that has made this vehicle a staple for many mid-class drivers continues. Toyota says the new series will bring significant changes that provide more comfort, economic stability, and less environmental impact.

The 2016 Corolla is touted as Toyota’s car of the future with a design that offers sufficient gas economy with more horsepower than ever before. The car is expected to have an engine that sets new standards for sedan class cars in 2016—a 1.8-liter engine with a minimum of 132 horsepower.

The 2016 series will also undergo some styling changes. The exterior design will offer drivers a sleeker look with new materials never before utilized in car making. The aim by Toyota is to improve the overall efficiency associated with the car in terms of aerodynamics. The rule of thumb: the sleeker the outside of the vehicle, the less wind resistance, thus allowing for better gas mileage overall.

Unlike its predecessors, the 2016 Toyota Corolla is rumored to be more of a luxurious sedan than the every-man car we have come to expect. The interior styling is touted to be sporty yet elegant. The seating will be leather with a design that will fit the individual better, providing a more comfortable ride. With the use of the latest technology, it is believed that the driver will be able to use the dash touch screen to access such standard features as satellite radio, automatic climate controls, as well as cruise and navigation settings with more ease and safety.

Already one of the most affordable vehicles on the road, the 2016 Corolla is expected to be available in a price range of $17,000-$21,000 depending on the features and trim.

While the rumors rumble across the internet, expert analysis has shown that regardless how much will be proven true or just hopes and dreams, it seems that Toyota is trying to take the Corolla to the next level.
