Ford Has the Ultimate in Luxury Travel

Ford gives the taxi and shuttle industries an upgrade with its new concept vehicle, the Transit Skyliner; and for many levels of traveler it offers the ultimate in comfortable transportation.

The van was designed by the Ford Motor Company and built by Galpin Auto Sports. This collaboration has produced a mode of transportation that is kind of a destination in itself. With 487 cubic feet of interior space and shiny wood floors, there is room to do just about anything while traveling in comfortable captains bucket seats covered in supple leather.

The theater model includes a retractable 52-inch movie screen with the seats swiveling and reclining for optimal viewing. Combined with the LED mood lighting, Focal Utopia 7.2 surround sound speakers and DirecTV satellite service, the van really feels like a mini mobile theater. There is storage space for more than 300 Bluray movies or more than 1,000 DVDs so you’ll never run out of options on what to watch.

The business model features a motorized table and allows the seats to gather around it just like a conference room. The table is controlled via Smart phone or tablet.

The reception model can be used when the vehicle is parked. The sliding doors open to leave a four-foot opening and the chairs can be arranged for entertaining. This would make for some very posh tailgating.

Finally, if your goal is just to get from point A to point B in style and comfort, the travel model provides reclining seats with retractable footrests to give a little relaxation on the way.

Ford produced this concept van with the aim of showing the flexibility, versatility, and capability of the vehicle. Ford hopes to market the van to fit the needs of limousine and other luxury transportation services, commercial fleets, shuttle providers, and small-business owners. The Ford Transit will go on sale this summer.

It is tough for the elderly people to make up their minds to go out for adventurous tour to the far off places because they dont like move out of their comfort zone, and avoid facing inconveniences. Will it not be an excellent idea to book a 7 seater for hire in France while planning a family tour with your old-aged parents?
