Can You Spell OCD?

Women like to coordinate. That’s why it takes us a little longer to get dressed than men. The blouse has to match the skirt has to match the belt has to match to shoes has to match the purse. It’s not easy to look as great as we do. Three car manufacturers are making it a little easier for women to make sure EVERYTHING matches.

Ford is partnering with OPI Products to produce nail polish colors to match its Mustangs. Starting in July to celebrate the Mustang’s 50th Birthday Race Red polish will hit drugstore shelves. Other colors will follow, but the manufacturer is keeping the full line a surprise.

BMW will make traveling a little easier and classier by offering a 4-piece Louis Vuitton luggage set which is designed to fit perfectly inside the i8 Hybrid’s trunk and interior. It comes in Carbon Black and consists of two weekend bags, a business case, and a garment bag. All are in Louis Vuitton’s checkered pattern with the maker’s signature laser etched on each piece. The set requires no purchase of a vehicle and can be ordered April 1st.

Bentley seems to be catering to the ladies the most aggressively with a line of handbags to match various models. The Continental handbag comes in Special Ivory with Burgundy interior. You can match your 1952 Continental R-Type precisely for only $5,500. If you happen to own a Continental GT V8, the bag comes in Dragon Red also. Those lucky enough to have a 1930s Blower can match that too with a bag in Cumbrian Green. The most expensive bag on the list is the $7,000 Barnato which comes in Imperial Blue with Linen lining and will bring to mind “sea and coastal landscapes, yachting, and other leisure pursuits” according to Bentley. I guess if you can afford the car, the purses shouldn’t be a problem and you likely have time for “leisure pursuits”.

Bentley doesn’t stop there though. Also available are silk scarves featuring prints such as a map of the world, a façade of the Bentley factory, or the Bentley logo. These are priced at $278 each. If you happen to stop by the 2014 Geneva Auto Show you can find all the Bentley fashion accessories there or you can visit your local dealer or shop online.
