2014 Silverado - Better Than Ever

Chevy has been producing the Silverado for years functioning under the belief that “if it ain’t broke, don’t fix it.” When you’ve got a good thing sometimes the best course of action is to stick with it—unless you can make it better. The new 2014 Silverado has been updated in ways that will make it even more attractive to hard working types but will also give you a decent vehicle for family or to take your significant other on a date.

The exterior has been updated with a 2 port truck grille and restyled headlamps. The all-terrain tires are half an inch wider than on previous models and come in a choice of wheel diameters from 17 to 20 inches. You can choose a V-6 or a V-8 engine which can put you in control of 400hp and 12,000 lbs of towing power depending on your choice. The rear bumpers have built in steps so loading and unloading in a breeze. Bed sizes range from 5 feet 8 inches to a full 8 feet long.

It’s the Silverado’s insides that make it fancy though. Options include a 2 door standard cab, an extended cab with small rear seats and doors, or a 4 door crew cab with tons of space for the whole family. The seats are heated and ventilated, can be covered in rugged durable materials or high end leather. The technology available is on par with luxury vehicles and includes forward collision alert and lane departure warning. There are touch screen controls which are easy to see and simple to use. The voice recognition system allows drivers to operate many common functions, place calls, get directions and play music with voice commands.

Prices start at $25,575 and top out at $47,680 for the Silverado High Country model with all the trimmings. Whether you are a down and dirty rancher or a cowboy in fancy duds the new Silverado can be made to fit with just about any lifestyle.
