Toyota Prices 2014 Corolla

Earlier this summer, Toyota added some edge to its venerable Corolla. Now it's announced how much that extra edge will cost, providing full pricing details on the 2014 sedan.

The 2014 Corolla will be offered in four trim levels: L, LE, S and LE Eco, starting at $16,800 for the L trim with six-speed manual transmission. That's a $570 increase over the base price of the 2013 Corolla L. Those drivers that prefer to let the vehicle take care of its own shifting will have to pop an extra $600 for the $17,400 L trim with four-speed automatic transmission.

Standard features on the L include a 132-hp 1.8-liter four-cylinder engine, LED low-beam headlamps with LED daytime running lights, Bluetooth connectivity and eight airbags. Stepping up to the LE trim, which starts at $18,300, buyers will enjoy additional features, including keyless entry, a back-up monitor, Entune Audio with 6.1-inch touchscreen and better fuel economy powered by a CVTi-S transmission.

Those that want to take the most advantage of the 2014 Corolla's sportier demeanor will want to upgrade to the S sport package, which includes a more aggressive front grille, sport cluster gauge with TFT meter, supportive sport seats and a leather wrapped steering wheel, among a few other standard and available upgrades. While the S trim's $19,000 starting price is more than the L and LE trim levels, it represents a $60 decrease when compared to the 2013 S.

Toyota advertises a class-best 42 mpg highway on the 2014 LE ECO trim thanks to a 140-hp Valvematic-equipped engine, improved aerodynamics and CVTi-S transmission tuning. That model starts at $18,700.

In addition to the basic trim packages, the LE, S and LE ECO offer "Plus" and "Premium" levels. The additions vary by specific trim, but include such upgrades as 16- and 17-inch alloy wheels, Softex seats and rear disc brakes. The Plus and Premium levels also open the buyer up to an $850 "Moonroof" package and $1,510 "Specialty Convenience Package." The latter includes Entune Premium Audio and a Smart Key System. Below you'll find more detailed information about specific Plus and Premium models and pricing.
