Visions Of Supercars Dance In Santa's Head

For centuries, Santa has instilled joy and wonder into the hearts of the world's youth by way of a reindeer-driven sleigh. A few luxury-car and supercar manufacturers have decided that Santa needs an upgrade. The world's population is growing, after all, so a little extra speed will help Santa cover his entire list with check marks.

We've seen Santa-mobiles before, but it seems like there's some growing competition this year. Within a few days, Lamborghini, Lexus and Mercedes-Benz each released visions about what Santa should be driving in the future.

The Lexus "Flying Luxury Cruiser" is probably the most historically accurate and "realistic" upgrade for Santa. It's also a pretty damn sweet set of wheels...er....rails. If you notice the initials of its name, they spell out "LFLC," the sporty concept car the sleigh is based on.

In Lexus' vision, Santa's reindeer are lured away by a cheap, last-minute Hawaiian vacation, leaving him in a bit of a bind. He calls Lexus for help, and it quickly gets its elves hammering away on a stylish new vessel featuring a hybrid drive system with 800 "reindeer power." That's about as much as we can indulge Lexus, but if you're curious what other features Santa's LF-LC has, refer to the info on the picture or check out the source link below.

Lamborghini imagines Santa making deliveries in the all-new Aventador Roadster, but it doesn't address things like oceans and cargo space - can't imagine Santa's sack fitting very comfortably in a two-seat Italian convertible. Then again, Lambo's version of Santa is content to while away the evening of December 24th by throwing back whip-cream-coated drinks at a bar. "Time is different in a Lamborghini."

Finally, Mercedes' vision has Santa picking out an SLS AMG from a Jay Leno-like garage of red Benzes from Christmases past, present and future.
