Ferrari F12 Berlinetta To Make North American Debut at Pebble Beach

Europeans have gotten to see plenty of the Ferrari F12 Berlinetta on the show floor and prancing around the street. North Americans, on the other hand, haven't gotten a real, live glimpse - unless, of course, they spied it while visiting Europe. Luckily, we won't have to wait much longer. Ferrari has announced that it will debut the F12 at this week's Concours d'Elegance event, adding one more exciting car to a show already packed full of them.

Pebble Beach is shaping up to be quite a show. In addition to all the classics that'll be there, we can now add the world premiere of a new BMW Zagato model, a rumored sneak-peak of the new McLaren F1 and the Ferrari F12 - that's a lotta' high fashion motoring.

The F12 is expected to hit US dealerships early next year. While Ferrari has yet to announce pricing, rumor puts it in the $330,000 range. It is Ferrari's fastest, most powerful road car ever, boasting a 740-hp 6.3-liter V-12 engine. It hits 62 mph in a tenth over 3 seconds and tops out around 211 mph.

More than just a powerful force on the street and track, the F12 is the latest embodiment of Ferrari's timeless styling. More specifically, it's the product of a team effort between the Ferrari Styling Center and Pininfarina design house. While you could argue that it shows a little too much tooth, its overall look is every bit as smooth, curvy, muscular and memorable as a Ferrari flagship should be.

We've covered the F12 to the point of a broken record, so if you have any more questions, skip to our original coverage from the debut earlier this year. And expect to see some of the very first photos of the F12 with North American dirt in the backdrop beginning this weekend.
