Candid Video: Ferrari F12 Berlinetta On The Streets Of Maranello
If there was one car of 2012 that we can't quite see enough of, it would be the Ferrari F12 Berlinetta. Unfortunately, since it's not on the market yet, we have about zero chance of seeing it on the road (not that there'd be much more of a chance even if it was on sale). Over near Ferrari's Maranello headquarters, on the other hand, people are actually lucky enough to see the latest Ferrari out and about. A new video provides some beautiful sights and sounds from Italy.
As much as we love seeing the F12 thrash about on the track, the best scene in the video, in our most humble of opinions, is a slow piece of footage that shows not one, not two, but three F12 Berlinettas driving down a public road, one after the other.
The Ferrari F12 Berlinetta debuted at this year's Geneva Motor Show. It uses a 740-hp 6.3-liter V-12 engine to claim the title of fastest, most powerful road Ferrari ever. It boasts a 211-mph top speed and 3.1-second nill-to-62 mph time.
YouTube user 19Bozzy92 says the footage was all gathered in one day, but it seems like it could have been compiled over time. The end result is the same for the viewer, however: lots of hot, red F12 Berlinetta fly bys, cruises and close-ups.
Do yourself a favor and check it out firsthand. And if you're looking for something a little more polished, take a look at Ferrari's own footage.
