Stolen Guy Fieri Lambo Found, Plot Thickens

Just today, the San Francisco Chronicle reported that Guy Fieri’s missing yellow Lamborghini Gallardo Spyder has been found. International espionage and Food Network fans will recall that last year’s March 8 heist was a tale reminiscent of the likes of James Bond – when a cloaked figure rappelled into a posh British Motor Car dealership to grab Fieri’s Lamborghini and run. Although the vehicle was spotted nearly a week later crossing the Golden Gate Bridge, via surveillance video, Chef Guy’s yellow Italian supercar has been missing ever since.

That is, until a bizarre series of events led investigators to a 17-year old kid’s storage container.

On April 13, this year, a blacked-out gunman riding solo on a motorcycle fired five shots at a couple in Mill Valley, California. Although neither the victims nor gunman have commented, an uncle of the male victim believes that shooting was over a girl. Apparently, this was a case of typical high school drama getting out of hand, and ultimately leading authorities to a much more confusing find: Guy Fieri’s Lamborghini.

“Can you imagine a 17-year-old kid trying to kill two people?” Randy Wahlstrom, a victim’s uncle said. “He’s a live wire, and he meant to kill. It blows my mind. I don’t know how none of the kids got hurt.”

Then, in the process of investigating a seemingly isolated incident, authorities stumbled upon a CSI Mini Storage facility which included the gunman’s motorcycle, other items used in the shooting, and the missing Lamborghini of yore.

At this stage of the investigation, little and less information is available to the general public. But the hot shot detectives assigned to this case sure have their work cut out for them, linking a high-stakes roll of car thievery to, what could be, two attempted murders will be a challenging task. That is, putting on a conspiracy theorist hat, assuming a greater syndicate exists.

Whatever the result, our loveable Chef is happy to have his car back: “I would like to thank the Marin County Sheriff’s Office and the Mill Valley Police Department for their hard work and effort in the recovery of my car. I’m glad we can put this behind us, and feel better knowing that justice is being served.”

Judging by the evidence, it’s possible this latest shooting was the result of fiery teenage emotions and completely unrelated to a greater crime ring. However, the teen’s apparently advanced ability to steal cars and hide them should not go unconsidered – a deeper truth may emerge.
