Cars on Film: Lambo Aventador J And Ferrari F12 Berlinetta (Video)

There were a lot of impressive new cars and concepts at this year's Geneva Motor Show. If we were forced into picking our favorite two, we couldn't really do better than the Ferrari F12 Berlinetta and the Lamborghini Aventador J. The former has the prominence of being Ferrari's new two-seat flagship and the latter is just an awesome, extreme one-off. And if you put money on Lamborghini and Ferrari in any type of car contest, you usually come up a winner.

Well, the tide has officially changed from dramatic on-stage presentations to post-unveil videos. Both Lamborghini and Ferrari have released videos of their respective Geneva debuts.

Outside of the fact that they're both awesome, red supercars, the F12 and Aventador J don't have too much in common. The F12 does compete directly with the more readily available Aventador coupe, but it's a production car that will lead Ferrari's line, whereas the Aventador J is essentially a 'one-of-a-kind piece of art' /concept car built specifically for the Geneva show. The F12 will help to write the next chapter in Ferrari history, whereas the Aventador J will be a brief but pretty sidenote for Lamborghini.

Regardless of their respective differences, both cars are two of the most awesome offerings from the world's two favorite Italian sports car brands. The F12 is more powerful, incorporating a 740-hp 6.3-liter V-12. The Aventador J is more interesting in terms of its design elements, on the other hand. Those elements include a new application of carbon fiber that Lambo calls "Carbonskin" and two tiny wind visors in place of a traditional windshield.

Before we get too caught up in rehashing the details, here's what you came for: the two videos. Decide which promo (and car) you like better. Then, if you have any unanswered questions, be sure to check out our original posts on the Aventador J and F12 Berlinetta.
