What Truck? Ram Teases New Truck With Bikini Babe

Models have long been an everyday part of the automotive industry, helping to catch our attention on television, in print ads, on magazine covers and on auto show floors. While beautiful hard bodies work great as hood ornaments of luscious supercars, a new Ram Trucks teaser video shows why they don't work as well for more pedestrian vehicles.

Bikini supermodels are quite analogous with supercars. Both are some of the most beautiful, mesmerizing specimens in their fields (human beings and automobiles, respectively). Bikini models and trucks? Well that had better be a damn fine truck if it's going to stand out against those voluptuous curves.

Case in point: The new teaser video from Ram Trucks, which you can view below. The video is a teaser for a Ram debut at the upcoming Chicago Auto Show. The debut is known simply as "The Dark Side," which we'll assume means some type of blacked-out truck.

We're not yet sure what Ram is teasing, and frankly, we really don't care that much. The faceless, perfect-bodied model kind of steals the show and leaves the video feeling more like a teaser for her identity than the truck. Not only do we see a whole lot more of the model's curves and lines than the truck's, but they're a whole lot more appealing than any truck we've ever seen.

Though the video makes us more interested in the girl than the truck she's advertising, it does have us talking about a truck that we probably wouldn't think twice about otherwise. So it turns out, hot models are good advertising even if they completely steal the spotlight. The Ram debut also has a solid bikini model connection: The truck will appear in the upcoming Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Edition.

Take a look at the teaser video and decide what model you'd like to learn more about. We should have more details about the truck when the Chicago Auto Show gets underway later this week.

This video seems to be a bit off for Dodge but it is good and i like the theme but maybe it just might be to much.

This video makes me wonder exactly what Dodge has under that black sheet.
