Pininfarina Releases Teaser Video Of Cambiano Concept

Pininfarina has been teasing the Cambiano concept for the past several weeks. The concept will make its debut at the Geneva Motor Show, and in anticipation of that debut, Pininfarina has provided the best look yet this week in a new teaser video.

The new video still doesn't reveal the entire Cambiano but does take us from one close up to the next, showing more clearly that the Cambiano is destined to be one of the sexier concepts of the Geneva Motor Show.

Perhaps the most intriguing frame of the teaser is the bird's eye view of the Cambiano. This is probably the most revealing part of the video and shows a look at the Cambiano's glass roof and interior. We see what appears to be a bamboo-lined trunk, indicating that the Cambiano will use some stylish, forward-thinking design elements in its interior.

The video also shows a good view of the rear fascia. We see what we'd call an "infinity edge" taillamp, which disappears seamlessly toward the trunk border. "Cambiano" is displayed prominently across the center of the rear end.

Outside of what we see in the video and the teaser photos that preceded it, we don't know very much about the Cambiano concept. The video is void of any hard information and simply outlines a few of the attributes that Pininfarina feels the concept exemplifies. According to reports, it was designed with an eye toward the environment, so we'd expect it to have a big battery pack fueling either an all-electric or hybrid powertrain. That focus would also explain the bamboo in back.

The concept was designed as a celebration of 30 years of Pininfarina's Styling Center and 10 years of its Engineering Center.

This teaser video is as bad as the picture, they couldn't at least give a full body shot. I guess its suppose to leave people wondering what the car really looks like and it sure does that.

I have never heard of this brand before but this car looks pretty sweet.
