Honda Debuts Ridgeline Sport

In the market for a psuedo-pickup truck with a little more style than your average gear-hauler? Honda has a new Ridgeline model that might be right up your alley. The Japanese automaker introduced the 2012 Ridgeline Sport this week.

Earlier last month, Honda disavowed rumors that it was canceling the Ridgeline, and the Ridgeline Sport shows that not only is it not canceling the truck, it's beefing up the line. The Ridgeline Sport shares the same 250-hp 3.5-liter V-6 engine with other Ridgeline models, but gets some exterior upgrades including 18-inch aluminum alloy wheels, honeycomb grille, fog lights, and black headlight/brake light housing.

Inside, the Sport has a leather-wrapped steering wheel, auxiliary audio jack, and all-weather floormats.

The upgrade to Sport will cost about $750, with pricing set at $30,805, which includes $810 destination charge. The 2012 Ridgeline base model starts at $30,060, $100 over the price of the 2011 model.
