Most Awesome Traffic Back-Up Ever! (Video)

You're driving along the freeway or a country road when you suddenly catch a glimpse of red, black, yellow... whatever. That's no ordinary Chevy or Honda. Hell, it doesn't even look like a Mustang, Corvette, or other everyday sports car. No, that's something special. It's lower than any other car on the road, has some major curves, and doesn't look like any type of car you've ever seen. You slow down to a crawl and try not to gawk too obviously when the car in question passes. Whether it’s a Ferrari, Lamborghini, Bugatti, or something else, seeing a supercar like that can make your entire day—because it's not every day that you see one.

Given that logic, it's not every lifetime that you see more than a hundred supercars in one massive traffic jam. But today's that day.

This video was taken at the Wilton House Supercars 2011 event. As the stars of the show made their way to the event, they got stuck in an ensuing traffic jam. Unlike most traffic jams, though, this is actually quite interesting to watch. Not only is it the most dense collection of running supercars we've ever seen, it's a collection of some full-blown, super-million-dollar ultra-exotics.

We're talking Bugatti Veyron, Ferrari Enzo and F40, Jaguar XJ220, and a Koenigsegg Agera. There's also tons of other Ferraris, Lamborghinis, Bentleys, Porsches, etc. etc. etc. All in delightfully slow, steady roll-throughs. This is the type of commuter traffic I want to get stuck in.

Wilton House Supercars is an annual supercar and classic car gathering at the Wilton House Museum, a 17th century stateroom with a collection of paintings and art, in Salisbury, U.K. This year's event took place in August and attracted close to 10,000. Next year's is tentatively scheduled for August 5.

After seeing this video, I'd really love to go.
