Lamborghini Aventador Filmed in Berlin

While Ferrari has gotten out of the gate with all kinds of video of its FF concept, country mate Lamborghini has yet to really show its Aventador LP700-4 in action. Well, that officially changed this week. Kind of.

The eight-minute clip below delivers some beautiful footage of the Aventador, and it's moving—but unfortunately, it's moving along at a parade pace rather than a full-on, 217-mph pace. But we do get all kinds of close-ups of the car set to some ultra-dramatic choir music. And that grumble oh, that wonderful V12 grumble.

Lamborghini moved over a country, taking the Aventador from Geneva to Berlin where it rolled down the public streets to its final destination on a dealership floor.

It's a little frustrating to hear that deep-throated, 6.5-liter V12 engine without getting to see a driver who's willing to step on the pedal, but it's certainly better than nothing. And until we get full video of the Arancio Argos Aventador doing laps around the track, we'll take what we can get.

After its slow crawl, the Lamborghini LP700-4 takes its place in the Berlin showroom, a showroom where no one will get to buy it for a while since it's already sold out. Lamborghini announced two weeks ago that the first year run—a number that CEO Stephan Winkelmann estimated around 700 units—has already been accounted for. Given its early success, Lamborghini has hinted that the Aventador LP700-4 could very well become its most successful V12 flagship ever.

While the video below won't show you the engine and seven-speed single-clutch transmission put to full use, it will give you a look at some other equipment—namely the V-shaped headlamps and up-swinging Lambo doors—in action. And did we mention the V12 grumble?

Watch, see, hear, and enjoy:
