Full Frontal Of Pagani Huayra Leaked

Our first look at the uncovered Pagani Huayra. The leaked photos originally came from the cover and pages of Car magazine. Some kind-hearted chap scanned the cover in and released it unto the Web for all to ogle. After that leak Cars.UK, which had its own photo of the car, decided it was time to take advantage and published a second photo (above). Kind of puts the ki-bosh on Pagani's painfully drawn-out teaser campaign doesn't it?

In addition to giving a full walkaround of the car, the leaked magazine pages also put an end to the name debate: it's officially the Huayra, somewhat disappointing because I liked Deus Venti a lot better. But perhaps Pagani fancies itself as the "God of the Winds" and the Huayra is just one of several winds that it's created.

Onto the important part. Some are calling the Huayra a disappointment, but I'm just not seeing it that way. I think it looks meaner, burlier, yet sexier than most Zonda variants we've seen over the years. With a huge, in-your-face front-end, flaring-nostril-like hood intakes, and menacing Pagani double eyes, the car looks downright fearsome from the front. Moving back, the Mercedes SLS AMG will have to step aside, because Pagani's gullwings are even more dramatic, appearing to be separted by the slightest of T-tops. The thing is a vulture to the SLS AMG's falcon. We also see some monstrous cooling behind the doors feeding into the bespoke V12 Mercedes AMG engine.

As we saw from the spy shots, the rear is more shapely than the flat rear of the Zonda and gets clusters of three taillights on each side along with some muscular curves. Also present is the center-mounted quad exhaust.

It's looking pretty likely that Pagani will be forced into an early full reveal. So stay tuned.

Ironically enough, Pagani also released its fourth (of 5) teaser video before all the commotion. If you have any interest, you can view it below.
